Robert Bowman
Robert Bowman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Major League Baseball Advanced Media LP
Bob Bowman joined Major League Baseball Advanced Media LP (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, as President and Chief Executive Officer in November 2000 following 3 years of work in the Internet space. MLBAM was created in June 2000 when the owners of the 30 professional baseball teams voted to centralize all of Baseball's Internet operations under one roof. MLBAM operates the official League site, www.MLB.com, as well as each of the 30 individual team sites.

Prior to joining MLBAM, Mr. Bowman was President and Chief Operating Officer of ITT Corporation one of the world's largest and pre-eminent conglomerates. He joined ITT in 1991 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ITT Sheraton, the Boston-based global hotel network. In 1992 he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the parent company before being named President and Chief Operating Officer in 1995. Following the trivestiture of the Company's business divisions in 1995, Mr. Bowman successfully oversaw the growth and operations of the $8 billion conglomerate until it was acquired by Starwood Hotels and Resorts in 1998. During his tenure, Mr. Bowman and the senior management team at ITT created more than $25 billion of value for the company's shareholders.

Before joining ITT he served as Treasurer for the State of Michigan from 1983 to 1991. The youngest State Treasurer in the nation at the time of his appointment, during his eight year term he grew the State's pension system from $6 billion to $19 billion in asset value.

Prior to his appointment in Michigan, Mr. Bowman also worked as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs & Company, and from 1979 to 1981 he served in the US Department of the Treasury as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Domestic Finance.

A native of Milwaukee, Mr. Bowman graduated from Harvard College in 1977, and received his M.B.A. from The Wharton School in 1979. He serves as President of the Michigan Education Trust and is a member of the Board of Directors of Blockbuster, Inc., Take-Two Interactive Corp., WWE Corp, and Warnaco Corp.

A proven innovator in both the public and private sectors, Mr. Bowman is a frequent lecturer and has been a regular guest commentator on CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox Business News, the CBS Evening News and the Newshour with Jim Lehrer and he has been the subject of personal features in Fortune, Newsweek, BusinessWeek, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, among others.

Douglas Brown, Senior Vice President, eCommerce, Bank of America Corporation
Doug leads the eCommerce Product Development team at Bank of America, where he is responsible for strategy and new product development for online banking, mobile banking and ATM. Most recently, Doug led the successful launch of the Bank of America mobile banking and bill pay products. He has an extensive background in marketing and technology strategy in the financial services, software and telecommunications industries.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Doug was the Product Marketing Director for edocs, a successful start-up software company focused on ePayments and eBilling which was acquired by Siebel in 2005. He was a key contributor to the company achieving 100M self-service users of its platform worldwide with clients that included HSBC, Vodafone, GE, American Express and others.

Mr. Brown has worked globally as a business strategy consultant in India, the Czech Republic and Sweden. He started his career with AT&T, most notably as a top performing sales manager. He holds a B.S. Marketing degree from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. degree from the Darden School, University of Virginia. Doug now lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two daughters.

Timothy Cox
Timothy Cox, Chief Information Officer, OnStar
Timothy Cox is the Chief Information Officer for GM OnStar, responsible for IT systems which deliver safety, navigation, telephony, vehicle diagnostics and other value-add services to OnStar subscribers.

Prior to OnStar, Mr. Cox served as the Regional Process Information Officer for GM North American Product Development. There he was responsible for information systems across Vehicle Engineering, Research & Development, Design Centers and Proving Grounds – including CAD/CAM, engineering simulation, testing, and product specification systems.

Earlier, Mr. Cox was Director of Vehicle Integration and Design IT where he was responsible for the deployment and support of all math-based tools (Unigraphics CAD/CAM, advanced visualization, and Product Lifecycle Management systems) in the North America Vehicle organization. He also held the position of Director for Global Systems Integration where he led the global software development factory for GM's Product Development organization.

Mr. Cox joined GM in 1999 from IBM where he served in various information technology consulting and systems engineering roles, primarily within the automotive industry.

Tim Cox has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Nicholas Doggett
Nicholas Doggett, Director, Network Architecture, Amtrak
Nick Doggett is Director of Network Architecture at the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak), where he is responsible for the planning, design and deployment of fiber backbone, MPLS WAN, Ethernet switched, WiFi, mesh, and mobile wireless networks across the national enterprise. He is currently engaged in the development and implementation of an integrated WiFi and mobile wireless system to support Amtrak's mechanical operations at over thirty yard facilities.

Mr. Doggett has twenty five years of experience in the application of advanced technology to meet enterprise-wide business challenges in the passenger transportation industry. He has extensive experience developing and deploying mission critical systems and has led planning and implementation of major IT initiatives including nation-wide computer and communications equipment upgrades, client/server systems, Internet services deployment, and industry-wide standards development.

Mark Dulle, IT Services Director, Dorfman Pacific
Mark Dulle is Dorfman Pacific's Director of Information Services. As the Director of Information Services and a member of the executive committee, he is responsible for the planning, implementation, direction and control of the company's information services. He works with the management team to set strategic business and technology directions and uses a business sponsorship approach to delivery of tactical projects. During his time at Dorfman Pacific, he has worked with several of the Dorman Pacific companies to implement Marketing, Product Lifecycle, Web, ERP, Wireless Warehouse, Freight, EDI, Sales Force and Customer Service processes and applications.

Prior to working at Dorfman Pacific, Mark has held various IT management and consulting positions over the past 25 years in a variety of industries in both large and small corporate environments.

Dave Dully
Dave Dully, Chief Technology Officer, Baptist Health
Mr. Dully has a technology leadership background in health care. He overseas all technology infrastructure operations and a variety of clinical, financial, and operational systems support activities for Baptist Health, the largest health care provider organization in northeast Florida.

Mr. Dully's recent accomplishments include overseeing the architecture and deployment of a state of the art technology infrastructure, successfully implemented to support the operations of a new paperless, digital acute care hospitals in northeast Florida.

Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2001, Mr. Dully held technical and IT leadership positions in the healthcare insurance and the acute care hospital industry. Mr. Dully has been quoted in industry publications on a variety of healthcare information technology topics, including healthcare applications for mobile computing, maximizing computing systems availability, disaster recovery, and others. He is also a Fellow of The Healthcare Advisory Board, and a graduate of the University of West Florida with 20-plus years professional experience in the information technology field.


Thomas Gagne, Senior Manager, Systems Development, Continental Airlines
Thomas (Tom) Gagne has been working for Continental Airlines, Inc. Technology for the past eight years. Tom has been managing the development team responsible for self service Check-in for two years. Since joining this team, he has overseen the integration of baggage self-service kiosks, mobile check-in, customer self re-accommodation, automated check-in, in addition to maintaining and enhancing the entire line of check-in products.

One of the most exciting pieces of technology tackled in the past year at Continental is electronic boarding passes, completed in conjunction with the TSA (Transportation Security Administration). This project, featured by USA Today, CNBC, CBS, CIO Today, CNN and Information Week, establishes the standards for electronic boarding passes for the airline industry and represents a first-in-industry implementation for Continental.

Tom's other projects at Continental have included managing development for the corporate intranet, enterprise single sign on, and mobile corporate security applications. Tom came to the Continental Technology family with extensive experience building enterprise solutions like digital asset management, computer based training, and updating "fat client" applications into scalable web based solutions.

Sheng Guo
Sheng Guo, Chief Technology Officer , New York State Unified Court System
Sheng Guo has been the Chief Technology Officer with New York State Unified Court System for the last twelve years. He has led the efforts in transforming New York State Courts' IT infrastructure to support the increasingly demanding and complex needs of its 18,000 users and millions of citizens it servers. He has led the efforts in bringing in many innovative solutions to the courts, including the completion of a high-speed, high-availability convergent network- CourtNet, the extensive usage of videoconferencing for inmate court appearance, the deployment of a statewide IP-based security surveillance system, and the development of the Digital Courthouse concept that integrated Wi-Fi, Digital Signage, and Evidence Presentation System, Courtroom Audio Recording System.

Mr. Guo earned several awards for his achievements. He received the Simeon Gordon Award for Outstanding Service in 2002, the James L. West Award for Innovation in Technology Management in 2006, the Bernard Botein Medal for outstanding contributions to the administration of the courts in 2007. He was named as one of the Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders in 2008.
Prior to joining the New York State Courts, She held several programming, system administration, and IT management positions in the private sector.

Mr. Guo holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from South China Institute of Technology, and an MBA Degree from Baruch College, City University of New York.

Randall Headrick
Randall Headrick, Chief Information Officer, Air National Guard
Randall D. Headrick is the Air National Guard Director of Communications and Information, and the Chief Information Officer. As the NGB/A6 and CIO, he is the principal advisor to the Director, Air National Guard on Communications, Information Technology, Information Management and Air Traffic Control Systems. He is tasked to ensure successful provision of warfighting integration by providing an enterprise approach to all information technology lifecycle activities. Mr. Headrick's responsibilities include oversight of both fixed and tactical communications units, fixed and deployable ATC units, and all Air National Guard Information Managers. He provides direction and oversight of the ANG's enterprise network, including strategic planning, capital planning and investment control, policy and standards, resource planning, knowledge management, architecture and infrastructure planning, and security management. He provides policy and guidance to ensure all current and proposed operating systems, network services, data management, and IT systems are fully planned, installed, configured and tested to Air Force standards, and are congruent with current Air Force guidance. In the Joint environment, Mr. Headrick is also responsible for ensuring data and voice interoperability with the Army National Guard and other federal agencies in support of the National Guard's Homeland Security effort.

From 1983 to 1990 Randy was the President and CEO of the Phoenix Computer Group, St Louis, MO and Dallas, TX, and was an early innovator in transportable and portable computing solutions for the military and for industry. As a partner in an emerging hard drive manufacturing company he was instrumental in bringing small form factor hard drives to laptop and portable computers. From 1984 to 1988 he was a contributing editor
to several professional computer related publications regarding PC hardware and software products.

In 1991, he joined the federal civil service and was assigned to the National Guard Bureau, Washington DC, as Chief Air Traffic Control Systems. Prior to his appointment as the Air National Guard Director of Communications and Information and CIO in 2005 Mr. Headrick was the Chief, Tactical Communications and Battle Management Systems from 1995-1999, Deputy Director, Command & Control, Communications and Computers (C4) from 1999-2001 and the Air National Guard Chief Information Officer from 2001-2005.

Mark Hilbush
Mark Hilbush, Vice President, Information Services, UPS
Mark Hilbush is the Information Services (I.S.) Corporate Repository & Architecture (CRA) Portfolio Manager. Mark is responsible for Enterprise Architecture, Corporate Repositories, Business Continuity, and IT Standards for UPS worldwide.

In March 1987, Mark began his UPS career as a Senior Analyst at Roadnet Technologies, Inc. in Timonium, MD; Roadnet was eventually consolidated with UPS I.S. in 1995. Mark held several positions of increasing responsibility and in 1993, joined the Customer Technology Portfolio, where he was responsible for UPS OnLine Professional, UPS's first Windows-based desktop shipping system. In December 1996, Mark assumed responsibility for UPS's public Internet site, UPS.com. During the eight years in which he was responsible for UPS.com, UPS's Internet presence dramatically changed the way customers interact with UPS. Applications such as Package Tracking, Internet Shipping, CampusShip, MyUPS, On Call Pickup and OnLine Tools gave customers unprecedented levels of access to UPS information and services.

Mark was promoted to Applications Manager in September 2005, and was responsible for the systems that support the operation of UPS domestic and international package operations, as well as its automated ground hubs. In this capacity, he was responsible for Package Flow Technology, Automated Package Sorting Systems, Package Planning Systems, Scanning Systems and International Operations Systems.

Mark has more than 25 years experience in the field of information technology. Prior to joining UPS, Mark held a variety of software development positions at a U.S. defense contracting firm and a telecommunications firm.

A native of Shamokin, PA, Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. He also studied Computer Science at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with concentrations in telecommunications and artificial intelligence.

Julia King
Julia King, Executive Editor and National Correspondent, Computerworld
Julia King is an award-winning business and technology journalist with more than 20 years experience covering a wide range of key topics, from enterprise software development, technology management and IT skills and career issues to return on investment, business intelligence and next-gen IT leadership. Ms. King was the founding executive editor of the award-winning ComputerworldROI magazine and spearheaded Computerworld's coverage of information economics.

Prior to joining Computerworld in 1994, Ms. King worked for nearly a decade as a reporter and writer for national business and technology magazines. She also worked for five years as a daily newspaper reporter and later, as a features writer and editor. Her IT reporting has earned her several awards form the American Society of Business Publication Editors and she is a frequent presenter and panel moderator at industry conferences. She is editor of a book titled Executives' Guide To The Wireless Workforce, published by John Wiley & Sons.

Ms. King holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, both from University of Pittsburgh. She is based in Ridley Park, PA.

Joe Lueckenhoff
Joe Lueckenhoff, Senior Vice President, Product Management, AT&T Inc.
Joe brings over twenty years of experience in developing and managing technology companies. Joe joined AT&T Wireless in 2003 as the Vice President of business Mobility and Offer Management. Prior to this position he held senior level positions at a number of high technology companies including Chief Operating Officer and Board Member at Celox Networks, a venture funded company which developed business class IP switching solutions. Prior to Celox, Joe was with Dell Computer as the Vice President in Home and Small Business.

He also held several key roles at AT&T in sales, marketing, engineering, and operations including his last role as the Vice President of the AT&T Data Networking product management. In this role, Joe propelled AT&T's Frame Relay Service into the industry leading position.

Joe recently held a position on the Netsolve Board of Directors (purchased in November 2004 by Cisco) and was the Chairman of the Netsolve Compensation Committee.

Joe holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Rice University and a master of business administration from Rockhurst College.

Eskander Matta
Eskander Matta, Senior Vice President, Internet Service Group, Wells Fargo & Company
Eskander Matta is Senior Vice President in the Internet Services Group (ISG) of Wells Fargo. He is responsible for managing the ISG Online Payments, Mobile Banking and Business Internet Services teams. Eskander previously managed online sales functionality and the customer experience across wellsfargo.com. Eskander joined Wells Fargo in August 2002. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Eskander pursued a career in professional services, having worked as an associate in the Investment Banking division of Credit Suisse First Boston, in interactive strategy at Bates Advertising, and in strategic management consulting at Mercer Management Consulting, CSC Index and Organic Online. Eskander earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of California at Berkeley.

Steve Poppe, Chief Information Officer, Roto-Rooter
Steve Poppe, Vice President and CIO for Roto-Rooter Services Company, is responsible for leading all technology and wireless initiatives for the company. Poppe has been with Roto-Rooter for more than 19 years, leading the development of the company's accounting and customer relationship management systems and building a network to support the company's more than 100 operations across the United States and Canada. Since joining Roto-Rooter, Poppe was data processing manager for Mutual Manufacturing and Supply Company, and customer service supervisor for Litton Educational Publishing. Poppe graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University.

Mark Tognetti
Mark Tognetti, Vice President of IT Strategy and Innovation , PHH Arval
Mark Tognetti is Vice President - IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture for PHH Arval and responsible for the application architecture, technologies, and infrastructure services required to meet business needs. He sets the strategic and tactical technology directions and determines how to apply these technologies across the enterprise to achieve business results. Technologies introduced or expanded during his tenure at PHH Arval include vehicle telematics, geospatial information systems, business process management, business rules engine and identity management.

Mr. Tognetti joined PHH from TVM Partners, a technology management consultancy he founded that was focused on helping clients derive the maximum value from technology. Prior to that, he was co-founder of ComVersant, LLC, an eBusiness consulting company which later merged in to Operon Partners. He has also held a number of lead IT and product development roles in a variety of industries, including travel, publishing, electronics distribution, and consulting.

He serves on the client selection committee for the Frederick Innovative Technology Center Inc., Frederick County's Business Incubator and holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Clarkson University.

Traci Van Deventer
Traci Van Deventer, Director, Mobile Products, The Weather Channel Interactive, Inc.
Traci Van Deventer - director, mobile products at The Weather Channel Interactive ("TWCi"). In this role, which she assumed in late 2006, Traci is responsible for product strategy, product development and revenue generation for TWCi's suite of branded mobile products. This includes downloadable applications, multimedia offerings, messaging products and numerous Mobile Internet sites. These products are available on all of the major U.S. wireless carriers.

A longtime veteran of TWCi, Traci has held positions in business development, account management and product management for weather.com and TWCi Mobile. Prior to joining TWCi, Traci worked on marketing research and affinity marketing programs for IntelliQuest.

Active in the mobile industry, Traci is currently a member of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) mobile video and television committee and is co-chair of the ad formats sub-committee. She is also a member of the MMA women in wireless committee. Traci received her BA in marketing and advertising from Pepperdine University and resides in Atlanta.
